Do you still pluck after microblading?
Many women claim to not touch their brows at all in the months following the microblading, while some women still tweeze, pluck and fill their brows in after the procedure. Others may choose to routinely visit their technician to touch up their brows every six months for peak performance.
Can I peel my eyebrows after microblading?

Don’t pick or scratch at the scabs. Instead, let them peel when they’re ready to peel. When they do, you might notice a patchy eyebrow area as the top layer of pigment starts to disappear.
How do I maintain my eyebrows after microblading?
Pain following a microblading procedure
- Apply coconut oil to your eyebrows twice a day until healed.
- Keep the area clean and dry.
- Avoid touching, rubbing, picking, or wetting the brow area for a week to 10 days.
- Avoid using any harsh skin care products.
- Don’t apply makeup to the area for a week.

Leading up to your appointment, you should avoid plucking or waxing your brows because your technician will be making your new brow shape based on current measurements they’ll make before starting the procedure.

Should I pluck my eyebrow hair between appointments? No. As tempting as it may be, you must avoid plucking those pesky stray hairs between appointments. By plucking, you are disrupting the hair cycle and prolonging the hair growth time.
Why microblading is a bad idea?
Microblading could cause: Infection. If your technician uses dirty water or equipment, they can spread bacteria like staphylococcus (staph). They could also spread viruses like HIV, hepatitis, or herpes.
Can I wash my eyebrows after 7 days of microblading?
Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure. Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head or take a bath.
How long does it take for the scabs to fall off after microblading?
7-10 Days After = the scabs will begin to flake and fall off your brows naturally, so your skin may look a little, well, flaky. When the scab falls off, the skin underneath will look really light and pink – this is because it’s baby skin!
How often should microblading be done?
As mentioned above, microblading can last anywhere from 18 to 30 months. In general, it requires touch-ups once or twice a year. Once pigment from the procedure begins to noticeably fade, you’ll need to go back to your practitioner for a touch-up application.
