Upcoming Hair Events | May/June 2015

The next two months are pretty exciting for the Nigerian hair space. Several interesting events are on the horizon.

  • Are you confused with all the information available about healthy hair?
  • Are you struggling to develop a hair regimen tailored to your needs?
  • Have you suffered hair loss and want to understand how to start their hair journey all over again?
  • Do you have a great interest in going into the hair industry and/or want to improve already existing skills?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop may be for you. On Saturday, May 9th, Natural Mane, Natural Nigerian, and Dr. Agility of PureJoie Consulting are organizing a personalized hair workshop. In the workshop, you have the opportunity to learn about: The science of hair, Regimen building, Moisture / Protein balance, Your health and your hair, and much more.

If you are interested, please email Natural Nigerian at nn@naturalnigerian.com or complete this survey.

Enugu people aren’t left out! Enugu’s first Natural Hair meet-up organized by Nappily Nigerian Girl and Natural Nigerian is also this May.

On June 7th, Dabs of Naija Hair Can Grow is having her Salon Day Out with the theme of Battle of the Hairlistas. Locitude is also celebrating Loc Appreciation Day in June. I heard good things about last year’s event so I’m sure this year’s events will be even better.

There are plenty of “firsts” for these events. Hopefully, you can attend some of them.

UPDATE [April 28]: The Enugu meet-up has been rescheduled for June 13th. There will be a Lagos hair meet-up on June 6th.
