Some of us may think we don’t have the greatest hair products and that is partially true. It can be so difficult to find products that meet our healthy hair needs. However, there are some products that can help and are easily accessible. One of these products is Emily Millionaire Coconut Oil and Herbs. I wrote a review on it last year and I explained that I use this primarily as a pre-shampoo treatment.
This product has many beneficial ingredients such as:
- Coconut oil
- Bergamot oil
- Vitamin E
- Refined Palm oil
- Shea Butter
- Avocado oil
- Jojoba oil
- Olive oil
- Aloe vera
There are several ways you can use this product to help your hair.
 As a pre-shampoo treatment
Take the cream and apply on your hair in sections. Cover you hair with a plastic cap and keep on for at least 15 minutes. Rinse off the cream and shampoo as usual. The cream will help soften your hair before shampooing and the coconut oil will prevent hygral fatigue. Hygral fatigue is damage to hair strand due to repetitive expansion and contraction from wetting and drying the hair. (1)
 As a scalp cream
Section your hair in 1 – 2 inch (2.54 – 5.08 cm) sections. Apply a small amount to your scalp. Once you have applied the cream to about a quarter of your scalp. Massage it into your scalp for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
 As a sealant after moisturizing
After using your water based moisturizer on your hair, apply a small amount of the cream to seal in the moisturizer. You can also use this as the Cream product for the L.O.C. (liquid-oil-cream) moisturizing method.
As an addition to a deep conditioner
You can also add a small amount to your deep conditioner to boost its effect. Apply you deep conditioner as usual. The oils in Emily Millionaire Coconut Oil & Herbs are useful to anyone on a healthy hair journey.
I would recommend you use it sparingly for methods 2 and 3 since it is very thick. This is especially important if you have fine hair because the cream could weigh your hair down. It also contains protein. So, if you are protein sensitive, please use it judiciously.
