Fragrance: It has a sweet, fruity scent. However, it is not very strong so it shouldn’t overwhelm you. The fragrance lingers a bit in my hair but I don’t mind since it smells nice.

IMG_2114Texture and Color: It comes as a thick white cream that absorbs and sinks into my hair.

Packaging: It comes in a plastic squeeze bottle. The label aligns with the Cantu brand (oranges and greens)

Uses: I use this as my primary moisturizer for when I moisturize and seal. It really sinks into my hair. It can also be used as a leave-in conditioner after washing and conditioning.

My Take: I first bought this cream about 2 years ago. I saw in Grand Square and was intrigued. Then, it was rare to see such a natural product. When I used it, I fell in love. After my first bottle finished, it took me so long to find it again. My heart was shattered. 😥  My hair loves this stuff. It absorbs so well in my texlaxed and relaxed hair and the moisture lasts. Lately, however, my new growth is so dry and the Creamy Hair Lotion hasn’t been working a great. In order to fix this, I’ve adjusted how I moisturize.

There are so many great ingredients in this cream. The oils and herbs are amazing. I highlighted the really nice ones. The cost may be a deterrent for some but the benefits are worth it.

Would I purchase again? Definitely. This is my staple moisturizer.

Have you tried this moisturizer?
