IMG_1977INGREDIENTS: Aqua (Water) (Eau), Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Dicetyldimonium Chloride , Polyquaternium-32, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil) (Huile Minerale), Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Honey (Mel) (Miel), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Panthenol, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Lanolin Oil, Phenyl Trimethicone, PPG-1 Trideceth-6, Polyquaternium-10, Amodimethicone, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch , Isostearyl Ethylimidazolinium Ethosulfate, Parfum (Fragrance), Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Phenoxyethanol

Fragrance: This conditioner has a similar scent to the other products of this line. I find it very pleaseant and sweet. The fragrance is not very strong and it doesn’t linger once it is rinsed out.

Texture and color: It has a light yellow creamy color. It isn’t too runny but not overly thick. It’s a bit thicker than ORS Replenishing Conditioner.

Packaging: This comes in a squeeze bottle and the package design is similar to other products in this line (red background with yellow lettering). The bottle makes it a bit difficult to get every bit of conditioner out.

Uses: Typically, I use a mixture of deep conditioners and oils. However, I have also used it alone. It works well either way. It can also be used as a pre-shampoo conditioner. This conditioner is quite moisturizing for my hair, despite the fact that it has proteins. (Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch)

My take: I like this conditioner. It usually makes my hair feel quite soft and the moisture lasts a few days after I’ve used it. There are some great ingredients (honey, argan oil, olive oil, aloe leaf extract) but there are some that may steer folks away. If you are protein-sensitive, I would not recommend this for you. The proteins are far down the ingredient list so one can assume that there isn’t much protein there. There is also mineral oil in this conditioner. I don’t have any problems with it. I usually have issues when mineral oil is in my moisturizer.

Would I purchase again? Yes. I actually need another bottle since this one is almost finished. 🙂
